Our private panel discussion, “Beyond Limits: Unrealized Artworks of Chris Burden,” celebrated Burden’s life and legacy and the launch of TRLab’s new interactive educational experience, created in partnership with the Chris Burden Estate. Nearly 200 attendees at NeueHouse on Tuesday, Dec. 12 got a special preview of the digital experience that brings Burden’s unrealized works to life, before it launched on Friday, Dec. 15. Josh Baer, who shared stories from his time working with Burden as his gallerist in the late 80s and early 90s, was joined by Audrey Ou, CEO and co-founder of TRLab, and Yayoi Shionoiri, Executive Director of the Chris Burden Estate, with a special contribution by Rirkrit Tiravanija, who was a studio assistant to Burden.
